ChessKid tournaments
Tournaments are a feature for clubs and can only be created by adult accounts. To host a tournament, simply add your kids' accounts to a club. ChessKid currently offers real-time fast chess tournaments.
For daily site-wide tournaments, kids can join the ChessKid Official Club to see upcoming events. Occasionally, we also host paid tournaments with entry fees and prizes. Check the ChessKid Events Calendar for more details.
How to create a Fast Chess tournament
From your adult account, click 'Play,' then select 'Play vs Kid' from the drop-down to enter the Fast Chess area.
Click the 'New Club Tournament' button at the bottom of the Fast Chess menu.
Choose the club for the tournament, set the start date and time, enter the tournament details, and click 'Create' to finalize.
Once created, the tournament will appear on the Tournaments tab on the right side of the Fast Chess menu. You can also cancel the event from this tab if needed.
The event will start automatically once the minimum number of players join. As the Tournament Director, you don’t need to monitor it, but you can watch the tournament standings and live games as a spectator if you’d like.
