How to reset levels, puzzle ratings, and history

Learn how to reset your kid's lesson levels and puzzle history, or adjust your own ChessKid lessons from your Parent or Coach account.

Reset your Kid's Lesson levels

  1. Log in to your Parent or Coach account, click 'Manage' in the top menu, and select 'Kids.'

  2. Click the menu icon (three stacked lines) next to your child’s name, then choose 'Edit Kid.'

  3. Scroll down to the 'Set Lesson Level' section, and use the drop-down to adjust their lesson level.

Reset your Kid's Puzzle history

  1. From your Parent or Coach account, click 'Manage' in the top menu and choose 'Kids.'

  2. Click the menu icon (three stacked lines) next to your child’s name, then select 'Edit Kid.'

  3. Scroll down and click 'Reset Puzzles'

  4. Confirm your choice by clicking 'OK' in the pop-up window.

How to change your own Lesson Level

  1. In your Adult account, click the gear icon ('Settings') at the top menu next to your avatar.

  2. Select 'Lesson Level' and adjust your level using the dropdown, and click 'Save' to apply the changes.
