How to Add an Existing Kid Account to Your Kids List

Link an existing Kid account to your Parent account by matching the Guardian Email on the Kid account with your Adult account email.

To have your kid listed under your 'My Kids' list, the email address listed under 'Guardian Email' in your kid's account must match the one you entered on your Parent account. If both emails are a match, then our system will automatically sync you both as Parent / Kid, and your kid will now show under your 'My Kids' list.

How to review your kid’s Guardian email

  1. Have your child log in to their ChessKid account.

  2. Click the cogwheel ('Settings') icon next to their avatar in the top-left side of the screen.

  3. On the Account Settings page, find the 'Guardian Email' field.

This is the email they entered as their 'Parent Email' when the account was created. It must match the email on your Parent account in order for the account to be linked.

For security, kids can’t change this email themselves. If the email does not match yours, contact our Support Team and we’ll fix it for you!


How to review the email registered on your Adult account

  1. Log in to your Adult account, and click the cogwheel ('Settings') icon next to your avatar in the top-right corner.

  2. In the 'Email' field, confirm your email address listed is correct. If you need to update it, click the pencil icon to edit and save.
