(Kids) I forgot my password. What do I do?

Learn how to reset your ChessKid password with help from your Guardian or our Support team, and how to set up a new one after!

Password resets on ChessKid

If you forgot your password, click here and enter your username or email address. We'll send password reset instructions to the email associated with your account. The reset link will only be valid for 15 minutes.

Once you've reset your password and regained access to your account, you can change your password at any time by following the steps below. Be sure to choose a password that's secure and easy for you to remember!

Alternatively, if you have a guardian on your ChessKid account, they can reset your password from their Adult Account.

How to change your password on ChessKid

  1. Click the cogwheel icon ('Settings') next to your avatar in the top left corner of your screen.

  2. In your account settings, click the pencil icon next to the password section.

  3. Enter your current password, type your new password twice, and click 'Save' to update it.
