Avatars on ChessKid
Customizable avatars make ChessKid more fun and engaging! Avatars are characters that kids can personalize to represent themselves on ChessKid. You can change outfits, accessories, and styles to make your avatar unique. Self-expression helps kids stay excited about playing chess, and research shows that when learning is fun, children learn and practice more.
Avatars are 100% kid-friendly. They do not allow personal photos or unsafe content, and ChessKid’s commitment to safety and privacy remains the same.
Basic outfits and accessories are available right away, while more items can be unlocked through earning and redemption of Stars and Gems.
Currently, avatar customization is only available on the iOS app, but it’s coming soon to Android and Web. If you use ChessKid on Android or Web, your avatar will stay the same until the update rolls out.
