Customize your experience on ChessKid
Yes, you can customize your background, board, pieces, and avatar. Follow the steps below to make changes.
Background
Click the cogwheel icon next to your avatar.
Select 'Theme' from the menu at the top, then use the drop-down menu to choose your preferred background. You can preview each option before saving.
When you are ready, click 'Save' to apply the change.
Board and Pieces
Click the cogwheel icon next to your avatar.
Select 'Play' from the menu at the top, then use the drop-down menu under 'Piece style' and 'Board style' to choose your preferred background. You can preview each option before saving.
When you are ready, click 'Save' to apply the change.
Avatar
If you have a kid account, click 'My Avatar' in the left sidebar. If you have an adult account, click your avatar in the top-right corner and select 'My Avatar' from the drop-down menu.
Scroll through the customization options, including hairstyle, hair color, skin tone, eyes, clothes, accessories, shoes, and hats.
You can preview your selections before purchasing them with Stars or Gems.
Select your favorite items, or click 'Random' to generate a fun look instantly.
