Learn how to join ChessKid’s public clubs and what to do if you’d like to join a private club.

How to join a club on ChessKid

To join the ChessKid Official Club and participate in site-wide events:

  1. From your Kid account, click 'Connect' in the left menu, and select 'Clubs.'

  2. This will take you to the Clubs page, where you can browse and join any of our public clubs.

To join a private club, your Primary Guardian (listed on your ChessKid account) must add you to it.


For Parents and Coaches

If you have an Adult account and want your child to join our public clubs but they don’t have a ChessKid account yet, you can create one for them through your Adult account. Here's how:

  1. Click 'Manage' in the top menu and select 'Kids' from the drop-down.

  2. On the right-side panel, locate the Kids section and click 'Add Kid.'
