How To View Or Change My Membership

Learn how to update your billing info, manage renewals, or cancel a ChessKid Gold Membership, including third-party purchases.

Manage your ChessKid membership

To ensure uninterrupted access to premium features, ChessKid Gold Memberships automatically renew at the end of each billing cycle. You can turn off auto-renewal at any time from your account settings.

How to change your payment information

  1. On a desktop computer, log into the ChessKid account that originally purchased the membership. Click 'Settings', then select 'Subscription.'

    • If you only see a Basic Membership, this may not be the account that made the purchase. Some accounts receive complimentary Gold, which means billing info won’t be available.

  2. Click the 'See Billing Info' button then the pencil icon next to the payment information.

    • If you don’t see the pencil icon to edit your billing information, you’ll need to cancel your current membership and purchase a new one using the updated billing details. We’re sorry for the inconvenience!

  3. Enter your new payment details and click 'Change' to save.

Membership types that require a different process

Third-party memberships

iOS

ChessKid does not manage subscription cycles purchased on iOS devices through the Apple App Store or iTunes. If you purchase through the app and then decide to switch to a subscription via a computer browser, you will need to cancel your subscription from your Apple device.

Google Play

If your membership was purchased through Google Play, you will need to contact Google Play Help. To manage your Google Play account, please click on the following link: Google Play Help.

ChessKid Enterprise

If you’re an administrator for a school or district using a ChessKid Enterprise account, your subscription may follow a different renewal process. For help, please reach out directly to your ChessKid representative.
