How to request a refund for a Google Play purchase

If you purchased your ChessKid membership through Google Play (not ChessKid.com), refund requests must be submitted directly through Google.

Follow these steps to request a refund:

  1. At the top right, click your Profile picture.

  2. Click 'Payments & subscriptions,' then 'Budget & order history.'

  3. For the order you want to return, click 'Report a problem.'

  4. Select the option that describes your situation.

  5. Complete the form and note that you'd like a refund.

  6. Click 'Submit.'

After submitting, you’ll see a confirmation message: "Thank you for sharing your concerns."

You’ll typically receive a response by email within 15 minutes, but in some cases, it may take up to 4 business days.
